Thanks to Harold J. Howard of Newark, Ohio we have identified the photograph above as the family of Charity (Kimbrough) and Aaron Harvey (Charity is seated directly left of the framed picture and Aaron is directly to the right). This Aaron Harvey is the youngest son of William (the founder of Harveysburg in 1829) and Mary Chew Harvey. The seated people are from left to right: Louise Harvey Harlan, Charity Kimbrough Harvey holding a granddaughter, Aaron Harvey holding a grandson, and Mary Harvey Shidaker. Identity of those standing is not certain. They possible are: Frank and his wife Alice Edwards Harvey, Alvin Harvey, Harlan and Emma Burnett Harvey and Charles Harvey.

Hello Karen!!!! I am Mary Ann Harvey Magalhães. I have the same tree given to my father at some point by one of his cousins. I am the Mary Ann under Harlan and Emma Burnett. I live in Brazil as my father Wayne Alvin Harvey originally from Lebanon, Ohio came to live in 1960. Both my families were active settlers in the Lebanon region (Harveys and Keevers) and I am so very interested in genealogy!!! My father used to joke that both Waynesville and Harveysburg were named after him... Thank you so much for sharing! I have traced my family tree all the way back to William Harvey, the maltster who came to Pennsylvania in the 1600's...he married Judith Bolin a widow with four children already whose husband died after they arrived in America. They had 5 more and some of their children moved to Ohio.
These pictures show my direct descendants!!! Very interesting indeed!!!
